Financial Support & Fundraising Raising bamboo is difficult and costly. Panda Paws is trying to help raise the financial support zoos and parks need to support the only main staple of the Giant Panda, and meals for all bears in captivity. We also recognize the need to aid wild bears starving worldwide.
It is imperative to recognize the obligation to the world we share in committing ourselves to helping zoos, sanctuaries and wildlife officials raise money to support bears and all endangered species.
We hope to raise your awareness to the plight of these bears. Won't you take a moment and consider the impact your donation can make to these causes when combined with other donations.
Panda Paws greatly supports Animals Asia Foundation, building and maintaining sanctuaries for the China Bear Rescue of 500 farmed bears in Sichuan Province. AAF's actions are already underway, having rescued 60 bears but the bears desperately need continual donations to survive.
In 1995, IFAW built a sanctuary for 7 bears in Southern China that is managed by Animals Asia.
Panda Paws greatly endorses groups creating sanctuaries to help rehabilitate Moon Bears rescued from their prisons. We will contribute in every way possible to help these and all bears survive.
If you have already given, please remember that the expenses of saving these bears are continual.
Spread the word and give whenever you can. Stay involved. Get your friends involved. Get your children involved. Help raise hope and the resources to protect our bears through out their lives.
Either small or large, your gift could make all the difference. Either way your gift will be from your heart. |
